Essie Summer 'Haute in the Heat' 2014 Collection Swatch Review + Comparison

Con: similar to style hunter but different
Comparison with Style Hunter. This color is more white based and creme. Also more opaque.

An "unstoppable, bold orange" that reminds me of tangerines. Lovely pop of color for summer into fall.

Comparison to Serial Shopper from Neon 2014 Collection


Essie Urban Jungle
A "irresistible alabaster orchid"that appears to be an opaque off white nude. This polish is very classy and flattering on all skin tones. This color is my favorite out of the collection.


Pro: 2 coats, shiny, self-leveling
Con: NONE!
Comparison to Essie "She Said Yes". Urban Jungle is more opaque and no shimmer.


Essie Fierce, No Fear
A "intense cocoa mahogany" that appears to be a chocolate brown color.


Pro: 1 coat, shiny, self-leveling (top coat applied in picture but not needed)
Con: NONE!
No comparison in collection. Did some nail art with Essie Mochachino

Ruffles & Feathers
A "powerful peacock teal" appears like an seafoam green.


Pro: 1 coat, smooth, self-leveling
Con: stain slightly (problem resolved with two coats of base)

Strut your Stuff
A "compelling cobalt aqua" appears like a bright blue.

Pro: 2 coats, opaque, smooth, great formula
Con: similar to I'm addicted
Comparison to Essie "I'm Addicted" on pinky and middle finger. This color is more white based.
