Alfa.K Nail Wraps - Limited Edition Review

Happy Monday!

Today I have a review of a new brand of nail wraps from Alfa.K. The company is based in France and has lots of different patterns to chose from. I was sent two different patterns that are part of their limited edition collection; Dusk and Cocorico. Each set comes with 2 strips of 8 adhesive nail stickers (total 16), 1 nail file, and 1 wood stick to help with the application process. The two strips alternated between two patterns with the largest being in each color.

Dusk was the first pattern I tried. The bright baby blue contrasting with the dark blue/pink. The smallest one was a little too big for my pinky, but I was easily able to push off the edges using the wooden stick. I used the nail file to get a clean edge.

Corcorico was the second pattern. The pattern is clear with blue/red/white pops of color. The nail wrap was really easy to work with. The clear pattern turned out nicely.

Overall I really liked the product. The quality was great! Any bumps that showed up were easily smoothed out with firm pressure. It was also really easy to take off once it came time for it.

*These items were sent for honest review*

Ciaté Mini Mani Manor Advent Calendar 2014 Swatch + Review

Happy Sunday!

Today I have a review of a holiday favorite. I bought this set last year as well and loved it. So this set had a lot to live up to and it definitely did! The set includes 17 polishes (0.16 oz), 5 textured polishes, one exclusive full size Paint Pot (0.4 oz) and one set of festive nail transfers. The brushes in these are very easy to work with. There are 3 different variations that you could get when you purchase the Advent Calendar. So you may or may not get the one below. I hope you do because I loved it.

Day 1
'Kiss Chase' is a bright pink. The formula is smooth, self leveling, and shiny. The polish isn't completely opaque but still beautiful. This is two coats with no top coat.

Day 2
'Cha Cha Cha' is a juicy neon orange polish. The polish isn't completely opaque but still beautiful. The formula dries to a semi-matte finish. This is three coats with no top coat.

Day 3:
'Meet Me In Mayfair' is a clear polish with black, silver, yellow rectangular glitter. This is one coat on top on 'Loop the Loop' as a base.

Day 4:
‘Girl with pearl’ on top of ‘Ivory Queen’ bottle comes with a nice variety of different pearl sizes.
(this color will be uploaded later)

Day 5:

‘Espadrilles’ is a red/gold glitter polish with a raspberry tint. This is two coats with no top coat. The formula is self-leveling, smooth, and has a shiny finish.

Day 6:

‘Ivory Queen’ is a semi sheer peach tint with gold microglitter. This is two coats with top coat. The formula is self-leveling, smooth, and has a shiny finish.

Day 7

Day 8:

‘Boom Box’ is a jelly blue polish. This is two coats with no top coat. The formula is self-leveling, smooth, and has a shiny finish.

Day 9
'Mineral Love' is a pink based polish with pink and gold microglitter. The formula dries to a grainy textured finish. This is two coats with no top coat.

Day 10:
"Prima Ballerina" is a loose magenta pink. I put down a clear polish and then jam packed the glitter on. I think it looks so pretty.

Day 11
'Strawberry Milkshake' is an opaque white based barbie pink. The formula is smooth, self leveling, and shiny. This is two coats with no top coat.

Day 20:

‘Slumber Party’ is a loose glitter addition. The microglitter includes lots of many colors.

Day 21:
Nail Decal is a fun Christmas pattern.
