Milani Fierce Foil Nail Lacquer 2015 Review and Swatch

Happy Saturday!

Today I have a review of the limited edition Milani Fierce Foil nail collection. I swatched the entire collection and took pictures in natural sunlight. Normally my photos are taken with a light box but I thought this would better show how glittery these lovelies are.
Here are a few things about the product per milani team. "Rocking, Runway-Inspired Metallics... Get Ready to GLIMMER. SHIMMER. SHINE. Nothing like genuine gold flecks – twirling, swirling, luminescent sparkles - to take lacquer shine to the next level. For a multidimensional effect foil shine that only looks like you spent hours at the nail salon, paint on one of these six high-impact, trend-driven shades. Named for famous Italian cities, they span the color spectrum from the pearly-white, beachy Sardinia to the cobalt blue Venice. While it goes on sheer, the gold-formula has real staying power. These hip lacquers were built to last."

Enough talk, lets see some picture. These pictures are without top coat and taken in natural sun light. First up is my favorite in the entire collection!

'Sardina' is a clear subtle silver glitter. This is 2 coats with no spot addition. There are micro and macro glitters in this polish. It is similar to China Glaze 'Fairy Dust' but this one has a lot more glitter per coat.  This would be perfect on top of another color or alone.

'Milan' is a yellow based gold glitter. This is 1 coats with no spot addition. Once again, there are micro and macro glitters in this polish. This color screams gold to me. I think I would only wear this color for an accent nail.

'Capri' is a barbie pink with tiny gold specks. This is 2 coats with no spot addition. Although this color is bright and lovely, it is not something I can wear day to day. It would be fun for a beach trip.

'Rome' is a light purple with purple and tiny silver specks. This is 2 coats with no spot addition. This color is another favorite of mine.

'Florence' is a green base with green and gold glitter. This is 2 coats with no spot addition. This color reminds me of Kermit the Frog from the Muppets or Emerald green from Wizards of Oz.

'Venice' is a blue base with tiny silver and sapphire blue glitter. This is 2 coats with no spot addition. I love the boldness of this polish. This was the only polish I thought was a tiny bit streaky, but the shine in the light hides it pretty well.

Overall the products apply smoothly and show minimal streaks. The wear time is long, like most glitters. I wore mine with a top coat for an entire week without any chip.

Fierce Foil Nail Lacquer starts at $3.99 at CVS stores nationwide or you can purchase them on the Milani website. Remember these are LIMITED EDITION. All Milani products are certified by PETA and The Leaping Bunny Program as cruelty-free.
