Essie Neon 'Too Taboo' Collection 2014 Review + Swatch Comparison

Today I have Essie's 2014 Neon Collection for you to read about. All the shades were swatched with a white base coat and 3 coats of color. I used a top coat on three of them. I left the other ones so you could see how looks by itself. I must say the natural dry of all the colors are semi-matte.

Too Taboo
An intense fuchsia with three coats. The formula was sheer, but good and easy to build. The second image is two coats of 'Too Taboo' without a white base or top coat. I compared it to Essie 'The Girls Are Out.'

Chills & Thrills
A neon blue violet with three coats. In the bottle I bought, the formula began to separate in the bottle. I had to shake the bottle after every layer to keep the color smooth.

Vices Versa
A juicy neon lime with three coats. The formula was sheer, but good and easy to build.

I’m Addicted
A neon aquamarine blue with three coats. The formula was sheer, but good and easy to build.

Sittin’ Pretty
A berry hibiscus with three coats. The formula was sheer, but good and easy to build. The second image is two coats of 'Sittin Pretty' without a white base or top coat. I compared it to Essie 'Play Date.'

Serial Shopper
A fire coral with three coats that is brighter than Tart Deco. The formula was sheer, but good and easy to build. The second image is two coats of 'Serial Shopper' without a white base or top coat. I compared it to Essie 'Resort Fling,' Essie 'Carousel Carol,' and Essie 'Sunday Funday.'
