MoYouNails Salon Pro 7 Love Designs Review + Giveaway

This is the last post of my 5 part series showcasing the MoYouNails Salon Pro 7 Set. It is crazy how many manicures i've been able to do and how many more I can do. First up I have a midnight themed manicure. The base color is Essie 'Style Cartel'. I stamped with MoYouNails 'Persian Turquoise'. The color showed up beautifully. The detail of the stars transferred nicely. The moon and stars pattern was so pretty. I think I got a little too excited and didn't check the image before stamping it onto my nail, but I still love it. 

My second manicure is a love themed one. I just wanted an excuse to use the cute harp stamp! The base color is MoYouNails 'Shocking Pink'. I wanted to see how the polish would be if used for more than stamping and it was very easy to work with. This is two coats. I stamped with MoYouNails white and added a top coat of Deborah Lippmann 'Bring on the Bling'.  I think the designs transferred nicely. The swirls around the heart was missing tiny bits. This can easily be fixed by being more gentle on the plate swipe. More polish will allow for easier pick up and transfer.

Third manicure is a hope design. I did advance stamping with the hope phrase so I would be able to position it exactly where I wanted it to go. Unfortunately with advanced stamping comes bumpy edges around the object, hence the odd coloring around word that looks like a square. I probably should have added another layer or two of topcoat to hide it. It wasn't noticeable in person, but the camera did pick up the difference. The design on my pinky transferred very nicely!! I am excited to use that one again on special occasions.

My last manicure is a combination of smaller designs and a full nail pattern. The heart pattern transferred soo nicely! I am excited to use that one again with like a cream base coat. The love cat design was done with advance stamping. I wanted to separate them onto two fingers since I wasn't able to fit them both on one nail. I seriously love the details in the image. Look at the bow tie on the guy cat! so cute

Thats it! My five part stamping review of the MoYouNails Salon Pro 7 Set has come to an end. I must say it was a fun adventure getting to be creative and combine all the different designs into manicure. The possibilities are endless!

China Glaze Twinkle Holiday 2014 Collection Review + Swatch

Today I have a collection review from China Glaze that will be released November. This is the holiday 2014 collection called Twinkle. It features 11 new shades and one specialty top coat. They also put a bunch of gift sets and nail art sets together which would be perfect gift ideas for the holidays. Now let the swatching begin!

'De-Light' is a clear polish with gold glitter pieces. The differently shaped glitter adds a nice touch to the usual circle glitter pieces. This is two coats with no spot addition and no top coat. The formula has a shiny finish.

'I'd Melt For You' is a silver metallic polish. This is only one coat with no top coat. Like with most metallic polishes you must be careful with application to avoid streaks. I think this formula is really smooth and has a beautiful finish.

'No Peeking' is a dark purple with a subtle microshimmer. This is one coat with no top coat. The formula is smooth and has a shiny finish. This is my favorite color in the entire collection!

'Chillin with My Snow-mies' is a clear polish with white hexagonal glitter. This is one coat with spot application in order to spread it out evenly. Unfortunately I think I chose the wrong color as a base. This would look better with a white or cream base so the glitter pieces don't stand out as much. For it to look nice with this base coat, the polish is missing smaller glitters to fill in the gaps.

'Pine-ing For Glitter' is a clear polish loaded with green glitter of different sizes. This color reminds me of christmas trees and the name is perfect! This is two coats with no top coat. The formula has a shiny finish. I think it would look really nice with a light green base.

'Dancing and Prancing' is a clear polish with multi colored glitters. This is two coats with spot addition. I think a white or cream base would be perfect for any birthday occasion.

'December to Remember' is a blue shimmer polish. This is two coats with no top coat. I love how the micro flakes add to the finish of the metallic blue base.

'Feeling Twinkly' is a clear polish jam packed with blue glitter. This is two coats with no top coat. The formula had a shiny finish to it.

'Out Like A Light' is a creamy gray polish. This is only ONE coat! This is another favorite of mine from the collection. I will definitely be wearing this one repeatedly during the next few months. The formula is smooth and shiny.

'Meet Me Under The Stars' is a jelly polish with blue/gray tint with silver, black, and gold glitter. This is three coats with no top coat.  It really does remind me of a starry sky.

'Define Good...' is a ruby red polish. This makes me think of Christmas when I see it. This is 1 coat with no top coat. The formula was smooth and has a shiny finish.

'Tip Your Hat' is a creamy apple red polish. This is 2 coats with no top coat. The formula was smooth and just look at the shine!

After swatching all 12 colors I must say this collection really embodies the Holiday spirit. My two favorites were:

2. Out Like A Light

MoYouNails Salon Pro 7 Party Designs Review + Giveaway

Happy Saturday!

Today I have part 4 of my MoYouNails Salon Pro 7 Set. I decided to do a bunch of manicures related to party/fun themes. My first manicure is a beach party theme. I did a plain base so the decals would pop more. I used all the colors from MoYouNails mixed with white so the colors would pop. The patterns transferred very easily. I love the details on the palm tree and dolphin. 

The second manicure I decided, was a black and white party theme. I like how the mustache transferred completely without any problems. It actually reminds me of a monopoly theme.

I decided to do a rock and roll theme for my third manicure. The guitar transferred amazingly well. It looked so pretty! I stamped with MoYouNails 'Down Gray.'

My last manicure is a fun masquerade theme. The full nail pattern on the index and pinky finger transferred nicely. It makes me think of poker/card games. I did reverse stamping with the mask. I colored in the mask with white polish and red for the lips.

Overall I liked the nail designs. With all the designs offered in this plate, you would have enough different manicures for the entire year!
