China Glaze Seas And Greetings | Holiday 2016 Collection

Today I have swatches of a new Holiday 2016 Collection. 

"Tis the sea-sun for holiday cheer!  This year China Glaze® takes you on a tropical escape away from the traditional snowy winter climate and wishes you Seas and Greetings.  The chill vibe of this collection has nothing to do with weather and everything to do with attitude.  Winter gets warmed up as faded ocean blues and weathered seashell pinks capture the relaxed feel of a day at the beach, while sparkling glitters and shimmers add a classic holiday touch"

"Sand in My Mistletoes" is a peachy nude crème. The formula is a bit patchy on its first coat but after the second medium coat made it beautiful.  

"Eat, Pink, Be Merry" is a sweet rose pink shimmer. First coat applies smooth but a thin nail line shines through. Second coat makes it perfect! This is my favorite polish in the collection.

"Snow Way!" is an iridescent white shimmer. The first coat was a bit patchy. This is two coats and you can still see some faint patches.

"Seas and Greetings" is a iridescent amethyst. This is two coats with a beautiful shimmer.

"Joy to the Waves" is a Shimmering serene blue. This is two coats. The polish is a tad too thin and be careful to avoid streaks

"Let's Shell-Ebrate" is a purple and gold confetti glitter. The polish picks up the glitter well. This is two coats.

#ZoyaNoah is a mid-range taupe evenly balanced between yellow and grey | 1 coat with good formula perfect for work

#ZoyaAugust a full coverage gray like a fine, expensive leather with a mid-ranged, balanced tones | 2 coats that was a little watery but evens out the second coat

#ZoyaWyatt is a true racing green with a deep pigment cream | 2 coats that was a little watery but evens out nicely

#ZoyaMallory A vibrant Prussian blue with a deeply saturated color | Two thin coats 

 #ZoyaCourtney is a deep red beet root shade | 2 coats with a beautiful shine

China Glaze | Rebel Fall Collection 2016

This 12 piece fall collection has a wide variety of creams, matte, and shimmer polishes.

A lovely taupe cream polish. The formula is amazing and only needed one coat. Photo doesn't show it but there is a purple hue to the polish as well.

Pearl Jammin'

A unique pearly white shimmer polish. The formula is thin and streaks only a little. This is two medium coats 

Fresh Prince-ss

A baby pink cream polish. The formula evens out nicely. This is one medium coats

Y'All Red-y for this

A bright red cream shimmer glitter polish. The formula is amazing. This is one coat

Jagged Little Teal

A deep teal cream polish. The formula is thick but the color is a lot more teal than blue. This is one coat. The photo does not show the teal hue. The camera unfortunately did not pick it up. Trust me though, looks just like the bottle. 

Purple Fiction

A deep purple metallic shimmer polish. This is one coat. The polish looks beautiful on camera.

Combat blue-TS

A cobalt blue cream polish. The formula dried matte rather quick so be sure to work fast. This is one coat but stains the cuticles

Heroine Chic

A deep brown bronze shimmer polish. This is two coats. The photo doesn’t do the polish justice. This one stained unfortunately.

Blue-Ya

A cobalt shimmer polish. This is one coat. The formula is amazing

Teen Spirit

A deep purple shimmer polish. This is one coat

Don't Mesh with Me

A super thin purple shimmer polish. This is two coats. A fun topper 

Holo At Ya Girl

A thin multi-sized gold and blue glitter polish. This is one coat. A fun topper

Zoya Seashells and Sunsets | Summer 2016 Collection

If you live in California, then its summer all year round. These PixieDust polishes are perfect for an accent nail any time during the year. The PixieDust is a textured glittery polish. 

"Levi" is a gold glitter Pixidust. This is one thick coat. 

"Zooey" is a pink glitter. This is two thin coats. 

"Tilly" is a silver glitter with blue specks spread throughout the polish. This is two coats. 

"Cece" is a bright green glitter. This is two thin coats. This polish is very thin actually and you can see my nail line still. Unfortunately I am not too fond of this color. 

"Linds" is a ruby red glitter. This is one coat. This is the only polish that is nice and thick. The color looks just like the bottle. 

"Bay" is a thin blue glitter. Remind me of a mermaid scales tail. This is also another very see through polish. Unfortunately it does not look like the bottle at all. It is still a VERY pretty surprise!

Overall I enjoyed these polishes. My favorite was the gold polish, not that that came as a surprise to you. I will be using it as an accent polish all year round!! Grab the polishes on www.zoya.com

Zoya Petals | 2016 Spring Collection

Happy  Saturday!

Today I have swatches of the Zoya Petals 2016 Spring Collection launched on March 1st. The collection includes 6 beautiful polishes that screams floral. All photos below are taken in artificial light with no top coat. 

Inspired by the gardens of spring, this fresh and vibrant collection invites you to revel in the beauty of the season 

Aster 

A sheer periwinkle with flecks of fuchsia. This is two coats for opacity. The finish is smooth and shiny. A stamped a fun pattern on my ring finger.

Azalea

A bright magenta pink with flecks of fuchsia. This is one medium coat. Although the polish is night and bright, its a little to bright for my taste on my hands. It would look beautiful for pedicures though.

Zahara

A sheer coral with flecks of fuchsia. This is 2 coats. This would be great as an accent nail for the next polish. 

Tulip

A soft cream coral. This is 2 coats. The finish is self leveling and semigloss. I didn't realize how bright this color was until I stepped out in the sunlight. So be sure to keep this in mind if you decide to wear it to work!

 

Laurel

A semi cream pink shimmer. This is 2 coats.

Leia

A sheer shimmer polish. This is 2 coats. This is definitely a polish that you can't wear on its own. The polish will not become opaque on its own. It would be a nice shimmer top coat for any other polish.

China Glaze House of Colour | Spring 2016

Happy Saturday! Today I have swatches of the China Glaze House of Colour Spring 2016  that was released Feb 1st. I must say the formula did surprise me with some of the polishes. None of the colors required more than two coats. Sorry for the lack of post but I haven't had a collection that I liked enough to swatch and blog about until this one. Enjoy!

Don't Be Shallow

A pastel blue. This color was opaque with two medium coats. 

 

Girls Just Wanna Have Sun

A white based yellow. This color was opaque with two medium coats. Reminds me of easter when I look at it. The finish is a bit dull but nothing a little top coat couldn't fix. 

Pink or Swim

A bubblegum pink. This color is opaque with one coat. The formula is amazing and it dries shiny! 

About Layin Out

A sheer hot pink. This color is thin. This is two coats and you can still see the nail line. 

Lets Chalk About It

A white polish with a hint of pink. This color is opaque with two thin coats. 

Moonlight The Night

A blue, holographic, and purple topper with medium and small glitters. I put one with spot addition on Lets Chalk About it. 

Sorry I'm Latte

A beige nude. This color is opaque with one coat. 

Glitter Me This

A spot gold and white topper with medium and small glitters. I put this one with spot addition on Sorry I'm Latte

In The Near Fuchia

A bright fuchsia cream. This color was opaque with only one coat. 

Chrome Is Where The Heart Is

A frosty lilac metallic. This color was opaque with one coat but streaky. 

Shut The Front Door

A pink tone semi-metallic polish. 

Come Rain Or Shine

A sheer cobalt blue. This color is sheer and needs two coats.
