Essie Wedding Collection 2014 Review + Swatch Comparison

Today I have Essie's 2014 Wedding Collection to review. There are 4 shades in the collection. I also threw in a couple comparison colors. Enjoy!

She Said Yes

A white micro shimmer color. Opaque with two medium coats. It is hard to see it in the picture, but it had a beautiful shimmer in the light.

Meet The Parents

A soft baby blue color. Opaque with two medium coats. The color I have to compare is Essie Truth or Flare (middle and last finger) which is not as bright.

Got Engaged!

A light pink micro shimmer color. Opaque with two medium coats. It is hard to see it in the picture, but it had a beautiful shimmer in the light. The color in my collection I have to compare is Essie A Crewed Interest (middle and last finger) which is not as nude/pale. 

Love Every Minute

A light coral peach color. Opaque with two medium coats. 

As you can tell I bought the small sizes first to see how I felt about the colors. I think i'll be picking up all the colors except Love Every Minute. Which colors will you be picking up??

OPI Muppets Most Wanted Collection 2014

I have OPI's Muppets Most Wanted Limited Edition Collection for you today! The disney movie comes out tomorrow March 21, 2014. The collection includes 8 polishes: two metallics, three soft shades, and three glitters. Let the swatching begin!

OPI Kermit Me to Speak

A duochrome mauve color that looked smooth after two coats. 

OPI Miss Piggy's Big Number 

A gorgeous metallic sapphire color that really blew me away. I used two thin coats. I heard from other bloggers that this color is very similar to OPI 'Blue My Mind' Brights Collection from 2006. If you don't have that color, then I say this one needs to be in your collection. Check out my Instagram for fun nail art with this as a base.

OPI Chillin' Like A Villain 

A soft nude peach color. I have two medium coats on in this picture. This is my favorite polish in the collection!! It has an amazing name and I must say that it is a perfect color for spring. Check out my Instagram for fun nail art with this as a base.

OPI I Love Applause 

A shear light pink that becomes opaque after two medium coats. I tend to wear a lot of pinks so I will be wearing this one a lot. 

OPI Int'l Crime Caper 

An opalescent pearl with two medium coats. This color looked beautiful in the bottle, but honestly it did not live up to my expectations. I wish it was more opaque. 

OPI Gaining Mole-mentum 

A fun shredded gold glitter layered on top of OPI Kermit Me to Speak. I used two coats because I wasn't able to get an even spread of glitter. 

OPI Lets Do Anything We Want

A rose gold glitter that spreads equally with one coat. It is a beautiful color, but sadly does not photograph well. I was disappointed with how this one turned out. 

OPI Muppets World Tour 

A fun glitter addition to the collection. I only used one coat on top of Chillin' like a Villian. This glitter looked beautiful in the bottle and would be great for fun nail art. Unfortunately, the color does not look that nice for every day wear. 

I must say that this was a nice twist to the original Muppets Collection. Overall my top three favorites are...

1. Chillin' like a Villian
2. Miss Piggy's Big Number
3. I Love Applause

Hopefully my first swatching blog wasn't too bad! In the future I will be able to do more collection reviews for you. I would like to thank Skyline Beauty Supply for holding the raffle that brought me this entire collection. This was the first time I had ever won something in a raffle!! I usually have pretty bad luck when it comes to those things. What was the coolest thing you've won in a raffle?
